Track Day
I'd been playing around with where to launch for more than an hour. (It was a bit chilly out, I was having a hard time sticking the tire.) My friend Brian suggested I try the "right side" of the track and that did the trick. I found a good spot and managed (thankfully) to get that first 8 second run I was aiming for. I was able to follow up with two more 8's and then a low 9.
First 8 Second Pass
Roll On
This was supposed to be a 75mph to 185mph roll on, but I was interrupted (at 160mph) by a pickup truck that came to the edge of its driveway on the west (left) side of the road...slowed down to 145, then went to 180+ after passing the driveway.

At Maxton - 196.5 MPH run
60mph to 185mph
Melting the Motor
Pretty sure the guy who built my first bike for me didn't lower the compression which caused the problem...anyway, I saved this clip for last since most people get a good chuckle out of it. Needless to say, I wasn't very happy at the time :-) Everything seems fine, then the bike starts losing power and then takes a dump. I had it rebuilt by the turbo manufacturer (Mr. Turbo) and it was fine. Ran it at Maxton, no problems.
2003 Viper
I figured I'd post a few pics of my 2003 Viper. According to what I've read, it's capable of 11.8 in the quarter mile, but I kept spinning. The best I could do (with about 5 passes) was 12.16...here's the video: https://youtu.be/t8XI7u1CwlE
